Winner of the 2024 Texas Authors Best Thriller Book Award for *Beneath the Glitter*, Roxanne Gail Hodge is an accomplished author, poet, mother of two daughters, and grandmother of four. She writes to inspire hope, provide encouragement, and entertain her readers. Born in Kansas and raised as a military child, Roxanne possesses a wealth of wisdom drawn from her vast experiences. Her walk with the Lord has served as a source of solace through many life-changing traumas. Sometimes, God’s blessings come in the form of tragedies, hardships, and tears, revealing how closely God remains by our side. Roxanne feels His hand guiding and uplifting her through obstacles.
Roxanne has many passions, including writing thrillers like *Beneath the Glitter*, poetry, short stories, reading, music, and painting. Her debut novel, *THE LONG ROAD BACK*, an FBI thrill-seeking suspense story, was published in 2020. She compiled some of her favorite life-altering poetry into a unique perspective of her life in her own words with *THISTLES AND BLOSSOMS*, released in the Fall of 2020. By popular demand, a sequel to *The Long Road Back* was launched in June of 2022, titled *BENEATH THE GLITTER: Rescuing the Unseen*, which addresses the critical issue of human trafficking and further develops beloved characters from the first novel. Additionally, Ms. Hodge drew on her poetry and divine inspiration to create a collection of *Christian devotionals* in her 52-week devotional book, *INTIMATE CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD*, launched in March of 2023.
